WTB: Cheap Used Polymer, Q: Desi Seery's Contact Info?

I’m looking for a used M&E, Seery, or other flute (I know there is at least one other maker in the same price range, who is less well-known, but makes good flutes).

I may buy a new Desi Seery flute. However his website doesn’t seem to be working. It lists 3 flute obessions CDs to buy, but that’s it. I emailed him, but no response yet.

I have a “New Website” link on the old Seery page that I used to maintain ( http://www.worldtrad.org/Seery/ ), because a number of other website’s links still pointed to it. Figured I might as well mention the Obsession CDs while I was getting the traffic.

But you’re right, in that http://www.seerywoodwind.com/ is down at the moment. They’re also working on a new website (without the Tripod popup nonsense), to be at http://www.seerywoodwinds.com/ . Neither is functioning right now.

Which email address did you use? The U.S. rep (seeryflutes AT gmail.com) had been out of the country for awhile. Patrick Fitzpatrick was handling the Seery website mail for that period, email is ( fitzypat AT eircom.net )

Doc Jones had also been carrying Seery flutes in the U.S., but is currently out of stock according to his website ( http://irishflutestore.com/ )

I’ve got an M&E R/R that I will sell for $300 including shipping. Send me a PM if you’re interested.

I believe Doc Jones has the new Copley and Boegli Delrin flutes that sell new for $349. Best, Cyril.

From what I understand from Dave Copley, his new Delrins he sent to Doc Jones sold out, and there won’t be any more until sometime in October.

By the way, Bay, I know that Doc Jones will be getting a good used Seery in soon, so you might want to contact him: www.irishflutestore.com

There don’t seem to be any new Seerys around right now either. They are very nice flutes.

Second hand Seery available - pm sent.
