Willie Clancy Week 2004

I was just wondering who´s been there, how it was and of course who´s expecting to go this year? It seems like a very good experience and I am defintely considering it.

Oooops!
Just did a search and saw that this topic has already been up. It also seems I´m a bit late at least if I want somewhere to stay. Are there any possibilities to camp in the surroundings?

Regards,
Daniel

Guess I missed this the last time it came up.

I went once before and stayed at a B & B with a family in the town. It was nice, but I kept oversleeping and missing the breakfast. I know some people camp, but I guess I’m just a spoiled Californian because camping in Ireland seems awful cold to me…

I’ll be there this year at the piping classes.

There will be plenty of accomodation, not to worry about that. if you camp during the WW cold is not a problem the feckin noise and the screaming drunks falling into your tent are a bigger worry.

An add on question about the school, the website talks about grading the classes. Does this mean they break you out by ability or that they evaluate you in some formal fashion ?
