Just curious.
I have the Nadine Laughlin songs that Chris posted here some time back, but have been listening to the Clancey Brothers a lot this week.

Sting & the Police, very best of. In my walk-to-work MD player: Wooden Flute Obsession, Volume 1. Also listening to Tom Waits (Alice, Black Rider) and Mary Custy (After 10:30) quite often recently. And random flute stuff.
Sonja
“Acoustique” by the Pierre Schreyer Band.
ronan browne(uilleann pipes&flute)with peter o’loughlin(fiddle&flute) and tierna browne (fiddle)
the albums called :“the south west wind”, and i do miss that wind
None.
I love these innocent war-free zones of what-are-you-doing-right-now off-topic threads. Really

Which CD player?
In the main stereo; the Return of the King soundtrack
In my office; Wooden Flute Obsession, disk 2
In my truck; Blackmore’s Night, Fires at Midnight
In my wife’s truck; Rush, Hemispheres
The first Solas CD, unfortunately my car CD player is on the blink and refuses to play many of my CD’s, this one included - just keeps spitting the darn thing back out at me
I think Colm O’Donnel’s “Farewell to Evening Dances” is in my portable CD player as the last thing I was listenting to. Either that or “Sounds of Wood and Steel 2”, an acoustic Guitar compilation. OTH it could be Buddy Guy’s “Sweet Tea”…ach, I can’t remember.

Well, your music choise stinks!!!
JUST KIDDING!!!
I have been waking up to Whistle Works by Phil Hardy. Love the harmony on whistle.
Jason Mraz, as it helps me program.
Solas is probably up next. Anything to keep me awake
Rich Mullins “Songs” in my car CD.
In my at-home CD, I still have Christmas music.

Christmas in an Irish Castle
An Irish Christmas
Joanie Madden AIW vol2
yeah, I know, xmas is over. But there are excellent cuts on those xmas records. The irish castle one may not be one most of you have, it was made during the 2001 Xmas Revels in Oakland. Has Liz Carroll, Jerry OSullivan, Patrick Ball and others on it. Quite nice.
I like slice of life polls too. Screw the cynics.
Bill Och’s CD for “The Clarke Tin Whistle” tutorial.
Just before that, it was Margaret Barry’s “I Moved Throught the Fairs”.
I can’t listen to music while working, because I always have to stop and pay attention to the music. I thought I might be able to use something soft, like the Modern Jazz Quartet’s “No Sun in Venice” album, as background music, but even that fights its way to the foreground withing minutes.
Niiiiiiiiiiice. A real gem that one. Their other CD is very good, too.
Right now my CD player is featuring:
“Kitty Lie Over” by Mick O’Brien and Caoimhin O Raghaillaigh (sp?).
No music in the inside stereo at the moment…it’s a “Teach Me Irish” audio CD. At this point I can pick up about one word in 20 (if that), but it’s fun to listen and get a feel for the rhythm of the language.
In my car CD changer, I’ve got Joanie Madden’s “Song of the Irish Whistle 2”…gorgeous!
Redwolf
Mountain Road - Sligo…that’s in one car…in the other is the session from Gleeson’s back in May.
i must get kitty lie over one day,
now i’ve got robbie hannan in the player, one of my favourites
Tommy Peoples’ Quiet Glen is what I’m listening to a lot these days, with Kitty Lie Over (Mick O’Brien and Caoimhín O’Raghallaigh as mentioned above) next on my to-buy list - especially after listening to them on the RTE radio program (check out the link in the thread on the pipe forum for a treat).

‘The Lark in the clear air. I.T.M. played on small instruments’,featuring tracks by John Doonan;whistle and Piccolo (an excellent player, alas now dead- from Hebburn,Tyne and Wear),Paddy Moran;flute, Paddy Neylan;spoons (!),Noel Pepper;Harmonica, and John,Dave and Mike Wright;Jew’s harp (!!!)
An unlikely sounding album, but real ‘magic’!
