I think Mike is watching the thread he started and enjoying it. Oh well, it doesn’t really matter. It’s a new kind of messageboard entertainment, kind of like the Gerry Springer Show.
I won’t post anymore about it, and I’m sorry I started this one. I am curious as to what the topic will be about two pages from now…

Hmmmmm… That was more than a bit self-aggrandizing, don’t ye think? I note that you used almost exactly the same the same wording in ‘that’ thread, also without elaboration. I suppose ‘cut-and-paste’ does save typing.
I rather fancy myself to be at least marginally intelligent, but all I could see that he was trying to do was indulge his own ego while putting the ‘little people’ in their place.

they do it to a far greater degree than I do. Wasn’t trying to put little people in their place but just reminding everybody we aren’t

Hey, I watched and enjoyed that thread, too. It brought out some revealing posts. And a picture of guacamole. It’s not exactly a new kind of entertainment, either, I think.

These things are always clearer on the rewrite. One of the most tiresome things about writing.
Yep, it made sense.
I think this is an easy one. A few people on this board were makeing assumptions about the integrity of a whistle maker, his products and his business. Now when you assume something you are in great danger of makeing an ASS- out of U- and -ME.
After going through all these post it seems to me that Mike is a pretty stand up guy and I appreciate his contributions to this message board. So John, please dont assume that everybody else on this board feels the same about this as you.
