Two flutes (polymer) for sale

Hey there:

I’ve decided to sell my two non-wooden flutes. They are:

  1. One of the famous (infamous?) Indian 8-keyed Eb flutes (based, I think, on a Boosey model). You can read my impressions on the flute here:

I haven’t done anything new to the flute since that thread; it improved a lot from the couple tweaks noted, but could still benefit from someone’s attention. I’ve probably played it for an hour, total, so other than the improvements noted, it’s just as it came.

Although nicknamed a “$35 special”, I payed $45 for mine (darn E-bay snipers…), and $35 shipping from India, for a total of $80. I’d sell it to someone for $75 (shipping included). Includes a hard case. Good project for someone. . .

  1. A Dixon 3-piece polymer. Because it’s so good, I intended to keep this one even after receiving my McGee R&R (from Eilam – thanks again!), to use as a travel/street flute. But I’m finding I play the McGee or my bamboo Olwell exclusively, even travelling, and I’m also wanting to buy a new kite I’ve got my eye on, so. . . This is a surprisingly good flute, in like-new condition (never dropped or abused). I’ll let it go for $180, including shipping. I’ll include a homemade soft case in the price.

Contact me via PM if you’re interested.

Thanks,

Aaron
