You are not taking this very well, Jim.
Let me get this straight: I am not telling you not to record or post your tunes. That’s great and I said so.
You are a good player and a better player than I am for sure.

Look all, this is not intended to start a fight, flame war, slams, etc. This is intended to be a resource.
I am having all the tunes reviewed by my instructor. If he thinks they shouldn’t be used as example tunes, then out they go. If he thinks they are ok, they stay. He is also going to be recording 20 tunes for me on both flute and whistle, that will be going up in the next couple weeks.

Please, if you have issues with the tunes as they are, email me. Don’t jump all over another member of C&F who is helping out at my request. There’s enough strife on the board and in the world as it is, without adding to it.
Aodhan
I apologize, Aodhan & Jim. Like Jim, I guess I feel strongly about the Music. It’s a great effort that both of you are putting into the page, and I think that is wonderful.
Best,
No problem…apology accepted.
John’s not under any constraint to use any of my tunes…that was understood from the start. And John, I’m sorry my being involved in your project has introduced controversy. That was never my desire.
The tunes I record will be posted on flutesite, rather or not they are posted on John’s site.
Also within the next few months I am hoping to re-record almost everything on flutesite, along with a major design overhaul on the site layout.
Best,
–James
That’s the spirit. Good man. Rootbeer vanilla floats all around!
Now that the dust is settling just a bit, I say again, “Thank You” I’m one of those newby beginners all alone out here in a cotton field (not too far from one at least) with no instructior and darn few examples to follow. Every day I come here to read, listen, and learn. Like many of you I’ve been around the barn a couple of times and know that caution in choosing at which altar to worship is necessary. Right now almost all of you know more about these six hole pipes than I do. If not I’ll add you to my Prayer List. Again - Thanks for giving me something to throw my cap at.
