Tucson, AZ- chance of chunes???

I’ll be in Tucson the last week of September for a conference. Any tunes to be had out there? I wouldn’t bring my UP pipes, but the fiddle and whistle would work. Anyone? Anyone??

Check out the Arizona Irish Music society, http://www.azirishmusic.com or http://www.azirishmusic.com/sked9.htm for session schedules. There’s not a ton in Tucson but you might get lucky.

There are more regular ones in Phoenix, 90 minutes north, on Sundays.

There has long been a wide and active web of musicians in that area.
