Transcribing Cran

How do you transcribe the D cran, say, in the New Mown Meadow (1st bar, part A, right after the A note)? I think of it as dum-duk-a-dum. Thanks.

There are plenty of examples in the various books. Mitchell wrote an article in the Piobaire in the 90s (80s even?) dealing with various crans. Maybe take your cues there?
