2000+!!!

Well, I must begrudgingly add my congratulations. I withhold some enthusiasm, however, because I have a sneaking suspicion that Emmline has designs on my Bloomfield. I believe the high post count is simply a way to get him to notice her. If she isn’t careful she’s going to find herself smooshed into a locker filled with sweaty gym socks. But I digress… congratulations Emm!

Susan

Congratulations Em.

Now did somebody mention lunch?

Oh, lunch boxes. Even better.

2000? Man, and I’ve only gotten past the 1,000 mark, after being here, what, more than 3 years?

Ah, Emm, the vigor of youth- Great Job!

Tom

[coo]But Susan…I’ve told you before…he’s all yours![/coo] I’m but a trifle amongst Bloomie’s cyber conquests–you are undoubtedly the Queen bee!

(plus, I think I already live in a locker filled with sweaty gym socks.)

…and i was going to ask why does she do it. but i see that susan answered that for me.

may you have many more.

No. This is the pertinent question. And the answer is not simple. But, when I work away from home more, I will likely post less. Mainly, I get tired of what I do alone, and take frequent posting breaks just for the contact.

That is just too sad.

It’s not sad.

Working from home “can” be good, no? I’ve never had that type of job.

The U.S. Navy doesn’t do much “work from home.” Now, the folks I work for don’t, either.

Tom

Ah, come on, Tom. You mean that big bucket sailing around in the middle of the ocean wasn’t “home.”

Will O’Ban

Well, yeah, never thought about it that way. I certainly spent enough days and nights onboard without getting to shore.

They really are home to a bunch of sailors, particularly the “junior enlisted” folk that are single. Those folks don’t typically qualify for any other housing, so they share a room with 40 or so others in the same “boat.”

All the Best, Tom

Congrats Emm!

PM me and I’ll send you your next French novel for your personal instruction and edification, so you can include yet more educated and enlightened posts. I have boxes of 'em.

Jennie

Wow…you’re kidding! I have to pick my way through Harry Potter a l’Ecole des Sorciers first. By then I hope I’ll have picked up speed.

More’s the pity…

Slan,
D.

Hi, Em.

Congratulations!

I arrived late due to having missed the exit ramp coming from the other board. (Nasty scrape on my mousing hand, but otherwise I’m OK.)

HOOP!

Best wishes,
Jerry

So this is how some of you get such high post counts

Eh?

Best wishes,
Jerry
