I have a Sweetheart Maple Flute in D that I bought used from Jim Stone for $225 last November, when he moved on to a rosewood model. It’s in pretty much perfect condition, just as I received it from Jim.
I could get a good sound out of it almost immediately, but I just can’t devote enough time to it to get used to holding it properly and all. It seems that I’m just not a flute kind of guy–too lazy, really.
So, I’m interested in trading it for a low D whistle of approximately equal value.
The two things I’m most interested in are sound and relatively easy right-hand fingering. That’s more important than exactly matching the price. On the other hand, if someone wants to buy it for about what I paid for it, I’d consider that, too. I’d prefer a trade, though, as that wouldn’t require such a long wait.
If you’d like to make an offer, please pm or email me. (Crossposted to the whistle forum.)
