A full set of mickey dunne pipes were stolen from a car parked, I believe, in Gort.
The owner is siobhan hogan a clare piper living in Galway.
She’s easily contactable on fb should anyone hear of someone trying to flog them.
I used to see Siobhán busking in Galway. Terrible to have the pipes stolen and I couldn’t help noticing she lost her brother last week. Very sorry to see she’s going through what must be a miserable time, wishing her all the best and hope the pipes will be returned to her.
I met Siobhán busking in Galway eight years ago or so and she was kind enough to let me play her Mickey Dunne pipes. I am so sorry to hear this news. If her pipes aren’t quickly recovered, might someone set up a “go-fund-me” account for her to get re-equipped? I would, but I’m a complete imbecile when it comes to the digital world. Praying for her and the quick resolution to this problem!
The pipes were handed into Limerick hospital.
