The only thing I was able to find with the album or actual tunes is a spot where you can listen to part of the them. Great stuff. If you find it, please let me know.

There is an interview with him which includes a little about it here http://www.firescribble.net/flute/skelton.html
Check out Celtic Groove Imports – Phillipe Varlet (sp?) is a nice guy and runs a cool site – not many things he can’t find. Anyway, here’s the link:

If you send me your email address, I’ll forward it to John. I think he can sell them directly. At the very least he’ll know a good source.
Just to follow up, I’ve written to John and sent him the email addresses I had.
Although I don’t have “One at a Time,” his two collections of flute and whistle tunes, “A Few Tunes” and “A Few More Tunes” are quite good. I think those two are self-published. They’re useful for learning new tunes, so you might ask him about those, too.
Looks like Tayberry may still have it …

Incidentally, they’re closing down due to age and health reasons, they say …
so you might want to peruse their catalog for anything else – they’re offering a 40% discount on a whole lot of their titles.
Not to take anything away from John, of course – but if he doesn’t have extra copies, maybe we can help the Tayberry folks have a nicer retirement!
Now, Cathy, I can’t blame you, but you’ve definitely contributed to my… er… slippage.
Thanks for the tip! They’ve got some great books, CDs, and an assortment of whistles.
Blame me all you want … just not to John!
Yes, I definitely see some things I’m after. A job, someone send me a job (or better yet, income, someone send me income (no job required)!)!
I have both, and his suggestion that there is a new CD coming of stuff that is not in the same envelope… different, jazz and other not-so-traditional stuff… I’m very much looking forward to it.
I still want to find that solo album though. Great stuff, I have no doubt.
John Skelton wrote that unfortunately he doesn’t have any CDs left. He does have a few cassettes left, but he doesn’t know what condition they are in after fifteen years of sitting in a box. If any one wants one, email me and I’ll send you his email address. (I don’t want to add to his spam by posting it here.)
I could no longer find them on Tayberry, either.
