Hello,
I’ve been working on writing a Science Fiction series called SS Scavenger.
The series starts about a Captain and an Engineer that save a planet but loose their ship. All the crew survived.
The Captain for disobeying orders is forced into retirement.
He and the Engineer all of their retirement savings into building ship. The SS Scavenger
And no, this is not in the Star Trek universe. The governing body of various planets are run by the Alliance. The Alliance is based on the planet Prose, Orbiting Procyon-A. A small planet about the size of Mars. Eventually Earth joins the Alliance.
For the planet Prose, I have create maps, culture and even a language (which grows with the series and is published in the book).
That’s the background. The Scavenger collects salvage from wrecked ships, hauls stuff and does humanitarian aid (and usually gets in trouble doing so).
Book 1, the Phoenix from the Scrapyard. Is written and published on Amazon.
Book 2, The Water World. Is only steps away from being published.
Book 3, Then Changeling. Is being written.
Book 4, The School from Hell (A story that reflects the brutal Indian Schools, only in space) is in the outline stage.
The reason I’m writing this post, is that I’m interested in translating them into other languages, like German, French and maybe even Spanish.
I think I’d like to start with German (have it translated by computer and ten a person proofread it) and this is because I’ve heard there is a lot Sci-Fi interests in Germany.
Or maybe someone here might suggest another language?
