November news

None to speak of.

Well I did partition my garage to make a smaller work space that’s easier to heat/cool and makes a cozier place to while away hours whistlin’ and whittlin’. I intend to upload a revised shop tour for my website soon. There’s still plenty of room to entertain visitors and a free whistle to each one.

I suppose I should make excuses for not offering tutorials, more free music, and flash graphics; or fingering charts, ads, and coupons in every package.

I admire all those extras but somehow must have missed seeing the need.

Guess I thought folks would know what to do with a whistle without a lot of “help” from me.

'Course I do answer every email message. Y’all com(municate) now, you hear!

Mack.

You, sir, make damn fine whistles.

It’s good to know you’re still making them.

Also, you’re just an all-around good guy.

Nah, don’t go changing. Quite possible just to have a list of whistles and their prices if you want. While I very much appreciate the additional material on other makers sites (particularly Phil’s tutorials), it’s not necessary. OTOH, I do enjoy the additional stuff on your site as well, the shop tour, pics of visitors, soundfiles, etc. I would like to see a few more closeups of your whistles, particularly of the fipple area.

BTW, I’ve got one of your Bb pvc whistles that is my absolute favorite.

Hoover rulez. Both the whistles and the man.

I have a Hoover low G aluminum and a Hoover whitecap on a Walton body. I like both. I’d recommend Hoovers to anyone looking for a pure sound, evenness between octaves and low air requirements.
