Thx. I have not seen a bellows designed like that. I suppose you could just tilt the front end up, similar to square-ended bellows, to avoid banging stuff, or just get a longer bit of hose between bellows and bag.

The front part of the bellows–where the hinge would be (the part that might touch the mainstock)–was asymmetrical, not squared off as usual. It was shapped ike this: / For LH. the point rose up and over anything it might come in contact with, such as mainstock or drones and regs. If you flipped it over, the point would tend to want to go under or at least bump into the pipes…making it impossible to play as a RH bellows.

That’s the right idea, Pat. Not sure the sides were curved exactly like that, but close enough. I didn’t mean it was impossible to play RH, just that it felt awkward. I believe Tom attached a RH bag too, but the bag was so tiny. felt like a football under your arm (oh not quite). I replaced both bag and bellows.
