Greetings,
For more information and photos, go to my web site:

scroll down in the main (right hand) portion of the first page to the bottom and click on “Instruments for Sale”
I picked up a Warr guitar someone was selling. A completely handmade (over a year waiting list) “two-handed tapping” instrument; this one is the semi-hollow body “Artisan” version.
I reckoned that it would be ideal for use in Celtic folk music - a player can easily play melody/harmony/chords or any combination with the right hand and melody/bass lines/chords with the left hand.
It’s similar to playing piano on the strings of a bass and guitar.
There are 12 strings - 6 bass side strings for the left hand and 6 melody side strings in the guitar range for the right hand.
The method of playing this is also similar to the Chapman Stick:

I will post again soon with a web site and some photos for perusal.
This instrument has both Bartolini magnetic pickups and a Piezo saddle pickup; especially with the piezo pickups and the semi-hollow body, this guitar (though it must be played through an amp or sound system) sounds amazingly acoustic.
This can afford a player of Celtic folk the ability to tap out melody or harmony lines while simultaneously adding the low end of the bass sound.
I got this for use with my own band, according to the above reasoning.
My assessment is that this is in fact a good instrument for Celtic folk players.
Personally, however, I’ve been seriously bitten by the piping bug and am selling this for that reason.
This particular instrument cost over $4,200.00 new, with over a year wait.
It is in perfect condition.
I will accept $3,500.00 for it.
I will wait until Friday, September 30th; if I don’t have any interest from this list by that time, I will sell the instrument through eBay, though for a higher minimum bid than $3,500.00.
Thanks!
