Is this a left handed set? The regulators and drones all look backwards to me. Was the Egan set it was modeled after the one with the extended bass reg? Maybe that has something to do with it? Looks beautiful, anyway…
Brad makes very, very nice flat sets. If it’s one of his earlier sets, you might call him up to see if he remembers it or not so he can tell you what he thinks of it.
It’s back! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=921165420
If you look closely at the first and third pictures, you may notice that the owner is playing musical drones! Or maybe I’m just crazy. I’ve inquired about whether this a left-handed set or not, I’ll let you know.

I don’t think you’re imagining things. looks like he did switch the drones round. He also made a point to call it a “right handed” set in the description this time. Looks pretty nice.

I think it’s all been sorted out. It’s a right handed set, photographed poorly, the bass drone placed incorrectly in a few images and the lab reversed the negatives.
you got it Tony. The guy is selling it for Brad, who sent him the pictures all reversed. It’s a right handed set, no quirks. I agree, it looks really nice. hmm… I wonder if I could sell it when my Rogge set arrives.. I wonder if I would want to!

It’d be easy to resell if the economy doesn’t fall much much further into the toilet. That is assuming the price being asked is a fair one (and that’s not a bad price for a full set from a very well respected pipemaker). Considering the sound of Brad’s pipes (and I’ve only played his chanters, not full sets), you may not want to sell them.
