hi, so i need to raise some cash again for another flute i’m after…
so i have 2 wood whistles:
D boxwood Busman i got a pm about this one; this is a really nice whistle. the boxwood is gorgeous, easy progression up through the octaves, takes a bit of push to get the high end, but in return you get volume and a bottom d you can honk on. i wouldn’t sell this one but for what i can get for it… looking for $215.
D maple Tommy Dion nice whistle, has a breathy chiffy tone (kind of like a Copeland) sounds great, looks great. looking for $135.
And a flute:
D mopane Casey Burns Folk flute nice flute, this one has an extended foot, which i haven’t seen on a CB flute before (?). Nice flute, folk flutes are an easy beginner flute price for someone wanting to try the flute. looking for $325.
pm me or email… i’ll have photos up on my website beginning of next week if nobody here wants them…
It may even be the small handed version. Hard to tell with those pictures, unless you lighten them up a bit (which I did). The lower holes seem to have a shorter reach.
hey thanks; sorry about the slow reply… i don’t check the whistle pages as much as the flute pages. i probably shouldn’t have put the flute and whistles together…
anyway, thanks. i thought his ergonomic flutes had offset holes? i uploaded more photos on the exchange; if you take a look at the 2nd one you should be able to see the hole placement better; i don’t think they’re short…
but anyway the flute is already sold… but thanks for pointing this out. i thought it was weird to make a “folk flute” with an extended foot…
