FS: Wilkes Bb 5key

I simply don’t play this flute for no other reason than my hands are just too small to do more than a single set of tunes.(edit: to clarify, based on questions, it’s my left wrist that ails me, an old injury that is aggrivated by the longer angle of such a long flute. The right hand spread is fine.)

It’s a big flute, patterned after a Rudall/Rose original and plays marvelously. Big full, creamy tone.
Keys are saltspoon sterling.
Rings are wide milled sterling. Blackwood. No cracks. No flaws. Cool/unusual beveling of foot key holes by Chris to bring it into perfect tune when he made it years ago.

Make an offer I can’t refuse (or at least won’t find ridiculous), but please don’t look for a silly bargain basement giveaway. That’s just not happening. Consider what you’re buying, okay?

I can’t even give a clue on what Chris’ waitlist (assuming he’d ever open one again) on a keyed Bb flute would be, but suffice that it’s likely a bunch of years. At one time i heard 18, but that just didn’t seem reasonable, yet considering how long i’m waiting on my keyed Olwell, maybe not, huh?

Comes with nice hard-plastic case i’ve used for years with it.
