Due to financial reasons, this is the second flute I’ve put up for sale this week. This is a Martin Doyle traditional style keyless flute in D with tuning slide. The flute is about 1 1/2 years old, in good condition and comes with its original case.
The cork in Martin’s flutes are literally that, a piece of cork. I found the cork to be very firmly in place which made fine adjustments of its distance from the embouchure difficult. I have replaced the cork with a thread bound delrin cork/stopper to make these adjustments easier.
Martin’s price for a new traditional style keyless flute is €955, which is around £817. I’m asking £600 (around €700). Buyer will also need to pay postage and any other fees incurred such as insurance, PayPal fees, etc.
