Up for sale is my keyless Michael Grinter flute in the key of D in African Blackwood and an adjustable cork cap. This flute is a true Rudall. I received it from another member here who is very respectable and knows his flutes. I was fortunate enough to get the flute and play it for a time, but I am transferring to a University which is way more expensive than the local technical college . Right now, I really have to choose school over a hobby, I think that would be the wisest decision(or would it?). New, this flute is over 1700 USD plus the international shipping and 18-24 month waiting list just for a keyless. It is in excellent condition, and it does not come with a case because I need it for my other flute. As for the tone and everything, it is a Grinter- need I say more?
Feel free to ask any questions. Also, I am not too sure how much this flute is worth. I have heard anywhere between 1650-1800 USD. The shipping would be 25 USD for American Domestic(comes with insurance and tracking number), if you are international, I would have to check on that. Thanks for looking.
Yes, and I forgot to mention that I will be at the Swannanoa Gathering in WNC pretty soon. If the flute hasn’t sold by then, I will gladly let people try it out there. I am not attending classes, but I will be there for the evening sessions. It would be a good way to try before you buy. Thanks!
