For Sale: Tom Aebi Concert Chanter (Rowsome Style)

I’m selling my Aebi/Rowsome chanter. As you can hear, this is nothing short of a world class chanter made by one of the best chanter and flute makers alive. So, you ask… why would I be selling it? A few reasons; I primarily play my flat sets, so literally this great instrument just sits. This instrument should be played often! Too, I’ll be needing a shoulder surgery (not a pipe related injury), so the cash will help. I hope I can find the right person for this instrument.

Though the vid shows my Hubbert full set. It is not for sale! …ONLY THE CHANTER is for sale.

Serious inquiries only. Thanks.

PS I’m proud to say I’ve known Tom for many years. Tom is a friend and I have the highest for his musicianship (he’s a great player), his reed making prowess, and his ability to craft an amazing instrument, which this is!

Sorry about the confusion,my fault. But on the vimeo page the staff pick was a video called " Killer " about a boy who tries to kill his bully in an unusual way.

Your video is great Mr O’Kane.

I’ve heard this chanter in person many times.

One of the best sounding chanters I have encountered!

How much do Mr aebi’s chanters cost from himself? I’d imagine he has a bit of a waiting list. I heard a boxwood flute he made for David lambe which sounded very nice indeed.

I’d put them around $2500 new, sans stop key, or Bb key.

Kinch won’t toot his own horn but I will…

He’s a superb reed maker. He personally made the reed for this chanter.
Moreover, he’s great at providing technical assistance after the sale!
Buy with confidence when buying from Kinch.

If I had the money for this chanter, it would already be in my chanter stock!

Here’s a vid of the chanter being played (w. my reed), complete with an enthusiastic T-Shirt!
