will accept reasonable trades…
I don’t know if this will help, but for anyone who cares this is the mandolin that I use as my primary stage instrument. I earn my living with one of these and can tell you that it is among the best acoustic-electric mandolins on the market today. Anyone in need of a good AE mandolin would do well to consider this one. The Legacy Deluxe electric is all solid woods with a custom pickup system by Fishman. Mine has an excellent acoustic sound (for an AE model) and really sings when plugged in. All the experienced mandolin players here will tell you that a solid wood instrument is the way to go. Hook this to a small amplifier and you’ll actually be heard in a session.
Based on Tim’s response I’m raising the price to 700.00.
Just kidding…
How bout 350.00?
300.00?
Anyone? I’ve got pipes to pay for…
A bump for the gentleman. This puppy currently retails for $900, folks! I’d jump on it, but I’ve got two mandos in the stable these days.

Kinda weird, isn’t it? A year ago there were a dozen or more threads about finding a good mandolin for a reasonable price, and now here’s a top model with all the fixin’s, practically given away, that can’t find a new home. Go figure. This should have been gone in a day.
I’d buy it too, if I didn’t already have two of them. I just don’t need a back up for the back up of my back up.
On second thought, just hang on to it Murph. A lousy three clams probably won’t pay off the pipes anyway, so why give it away? It’s worth way more than $300, and you won’t find anybody as generous as you’re being when it’s time to get a new one.
Or did you already sell it and just forget to tell us?
Perhaps a post on the Used Instrument Exchange would help:

I appreciate the advice and suggestions.
I did have a post on the FS page but it has been
retired to the old/sold section.
It’s just not a sellers market right now.
I put up a little squeeze box and it’s sold pending payment
but the wife had a fit when I told her what I sold it for.
I’m trying to sell some studio gear on another forum, but you
have to give it away to get rid of it.
Anyway thanks for the posts…
If I get desperate I’ll see what GC will give me for it.
Murphy
Ouch. If I hadn’t already electrified my
Glouchester, I’d jump on it. You’re right,
bad time to sell.
