As far as I know, this was only released on cassette tape, making it very hard to find, as many music stores won’t even bother buying cassettes to resell, especially if they’re not from a popular artist, so the chances of finding this in the wild is very slim to zero for me.
Is there any chance that anybody here owns it and could burn it to a cd for me, or that has digital files of it that they could send me? I would happily pay any shipping costs and some extra money for your troubles if you happen to have it.
Obviously, if this were something I could easily buy in a store or get a used copy on eBay or Discogs, I would, but this album seems to be incredibly obscure.
It probably is, as the album cover says “RTE Radio Traditional Music Archives”, and A Job of Journeywork was one of the programs he did. I’d be so grateful if you could share those with me, and I would be happy to share anything with you that I might have in my collection that you are looking for.
I have an original copy of the 2 tapes in original case. Happy to share with you. I have already digitised some if not all of the instrumental tracks - I’m less keen on the songs, but can do the whole lot if you wish. I’m not at all busy in August for some reason, so could probably do it fairly quickly. These are old tapes, so quality is not going to be the best. Send me a PM.
