Hey Folks!
I was wondering if there would be no problem if I leave my Lehart’s flute dissambling only the Barrel with the Embouchure and the Foot.. leaving the 2 body parts (were the 6 holes go) joint together.
¿Is there no risk to leave these 2 parts together? ..

Take them apart and swab them out when done playing. Joints can continue swelling, even after playing if not swabbed out and kept together. Could lead to cracks.
Is it wood? Is there cork in the joint? If yes, you should not leave it together because the cork will compress and then you will have a loose joint. If it’s delrin or polymer, there’s no harm in leaving it together.
