Daye Half Set for Sale. Maybe.

Hello. I’ve been playing a Daye half set since 2005 but may need to sell it to send my kid to college.

It’s in D. Chanter has a C-natural key on the back. Vinyl bag, no leaks. I have three reeds with it, all made by Mr. Daye.

I’m not at all sure what it would sell for, which is why I am not sure if I want to sell it.

If you are interested, please PM me. I can send lots of recordings of the set, since I used it on several CD projects.

Their have been two on the Dunsire for sale in the past year that were used. One was $1100 and the other was $1700. I would see David’s website and see what he is charging. Seth

That’s helpful. I was thinking toward the lower end of that range.

A new Daye 1/2 set is about $1350.
