Boxwood Rudall & Rose on Ebay!

Who needs that when you can buy a Blackman/London for $230…

Got that milling machine yet Jon? Looks like you’ve got a tone hole bushing that needs replacing…

Loren

Hi Loren,
When the flute showed up the bushing was missing. All the bushings were there on the original bid photo, so I asked the seller to search his house for it, and he hopefully has mailed it to me. If I ever get home I will see if it actually came.
The trick will be to match the ring that is missing on the foot. I don’t have a rose engine to make the pattern. If I wait a few years maybe Wilkes can make one on his machine. I was going to try to match the engraving with the CNC Mill…
I also have a Boxwood Potter and a 6 key American flute waiting for me…
Speaking of badly cracked boxwood, what is the perfered glue to match 180 year old boxwood? I will need a lot of it…

$ 4800.00 if I’d have known it would go so cheaply I’d have ordered a dozen!

Yeah. What planet are these people from? We need more cheap, mass-produced factory-made antique Boxwood Rudalls!
