Hi. Here’s a review I did of this flute on the flute board…

I would like to trade this flute for a whistle of similar value ($95). Please e-mail me if interested.

Um, this sounds kinda weird perhaps, but I considered your review to be quite a favorable one, in fact I was considering purchasing one based soley upon that review and the knowledge that you have “good taste” in whistles and flutes. That being said, Why are you considering a trade?
Yes, I understand how it seems weird. My review was favorable, but it indicates that this is a low-volume, sweet flute. I guess I like more volume, and I make bamboo flutes for fun. This flute is sweeter than my Olwell F flute (the Olwell has a relatively large bore and the second octave is a bit too strong), but not as rich as my William Miller F flute. Bear in mind, each bamboo flute from a given maker will vary; it’s the nature of the bamboo. I just make an F flute that I really like. So, hmm, I guess I just don’t need this one. Perhaps my embouchure is lazy right now, and I am preferring bigger embouchure holes. Everything I said about this flute is true, though. I had added to the other thread that by “Rudall,” I meant small-holed. I’d forgotten that that bit wasn’t in my original review.
