It’s so annoying listening to people who are so good at this.
Of course I’m still downloading all the clips.
Thanks, radcliffe.
Wow!
His compositions worth to listen to!
Very nice things with well placed accidentals.
Makes me die for my keyed flute to come!
His sound is also very good!
Yes very nice discovery!

This guy is incredible, I recommend everyone listen to him.
Isn’t Tom a board member?
This link has at least been up before.
I remember that I got as intrigued by his photowork as his music.
Thanks for bringing this up again, I had forgotten all about it.

Yes he is. He posted the link to his website a while ago. I agree that he made a huge amount of great flute playing available. It’s a real treasure… anyone who hasn’t visited his website yet should take a look.
By the way… his post can be found here:

Plus, isn’t he on WFO 2 ?

What kind of ornaments is he playing??? He’s playing something that sounds like a really fast roll (maybe with 4 notes) but not really a cran. Is this a condenced roll or double-cut roll, or something like that? Sounds really good.

Thanks for all the kind words. I have just updated the compositions page to include sheet music which was kindly provided by Maarten Marchau. Thanks Maarten.
Some of the ornamentation is home-grown in that I experimented a lot when learning. There are a few different notes which are ornamented in a non-standard way. I’ll try to explain.
G Roll is comprised of one cut (G finger lifted) and three tips (F sharp finger down)
C natural roll comprised of 0xx0xx fingering and three tips (F sharp finger)
Low D Cran comprised of xxxxxx fingering and two cuts F sharp finger and G finger
High D Cran comprised of oxxxxx fingering and two cuts F sharp finger and G finger
Hope this is of use.
Regards and thank you again.
