I do. I have both his Kennedy- and Rowsome-styled D changers and love them both. Lately, I've been playing the latter more at a weekly session I attend.sjcavy wrote:Who else here plays Aebi chanters?

I have what he called an in between for the Kennedy style and the Rowesome. A Rowesomized Aebi is how it was described. I enjoy it.

Re: Aebi Chanters
I think my tablet device mistakenly auto-corrected my D to C. They're both D chanters. Sorry for the confusion (I corrected the original post).

Ohhhh ok. Do you make the reeds for them? Is it the same reed for both?

Re: Aebi Chanters
The reeds are different. I've only made a reed for the Rowsome-based chanter with the help of Martin Gallen at one of his reed-making workshops.sjcavy wrote:Ohhhh ok. Do you make the reeds for them? Is it the same reed for both?

I guess I am uneducated....
What Kennedy are we talking about and why did you say that he didn't make great pipes?

Re: Aebi Chanters
I asked Tom the same question about the Kennedys years ago. He told me something about a special chanter from William K.
