McEvoy fluting

Post by RudallRose »

here's a neat video (if it's already posted, apologies) showing Catherine solo playing on stage, which doesn't happen often.

Lovely playing.

welcome, Kirk.

sigh. Some people seem to think we all spend our time on here and see every post.

i suppose there's something to be said to double-checking first.....but that would negate the laziness in the first place, now wouldn't it.

What's wrong with someone posting a link to a previous thread?

Your new thread brought it to my attention, which meant I watched it, and the link to the old one gave me additional information I wouldn't have found otherwise. Win-win! There was no judgement passed, just information...

Had you found the previous one, and posted on it, that would also have worked.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Nothing. Neither is reminding us that it's been previously posted.

I think she is my favorite fluter. She's melodic and has considerable virtuosity without allowing it to overwhelm the music.

Did a workshop with her once.
good teacher.
