There. What can I say? I read, I listen and I post. Inthe time I have been on this board so much knowledge has come my way. I was alone in a rural village, travelling some way in a small but now large folk band. No idea of 'twiddly bits'and slides and all the rest and after 2 years life is great. I say great because life has a pigs load of manure problems for me. Music is the one stabilising influence in my Life. THANK YOU. CHIFF & FIPPLE

That's GREAT! I've "met" a lot of folks on this board I'd love to sit down and share a cup of coffee (or a pint of ale) with and you're one of them.On 2003-02-10 20:47, selkie wrote:

Thank you Steve!:-)) I'd forgotten about that picture. Sadly the ferret in the picture, Yuki, was an old boy rescue and has gone to Rainbow Bridge. He was blind but loved music.

I usually check the boards a couple of times a day, and then most nights I can be found in the chat room.
This is indeed a special community, and I still learn a lot here every day, only some of which has anything to do with whistles or music.
And a good word of thanks goes to Dale and Rich, without whose efforts and dedication this community would not exist.
Best,
--James

"It's at times like this I wish I'd listened to what my mother said."
"Why? what did she say?"
"Don't know - I didn't listen!"

I'm Eastern Borders, near to Berwick so probably a long way. But whistle workshops are almost non exsistant around here so would be happy to travel if it doesn't clash with Hubby's Open University.
