[Copied from the Used Instruments Exchange.]
Bought new from Hobgoblin early 1990s and chosen from three for the best balance between registers with a good two-octave range where the others simply weren't happy at the top. Still a decent whistle, but one requiring confident player control when the odd note — notably the second-octave written A (sounding D) — needs a good blow to bring it up to pitch.
It's the whistle you hear in this 1990s recording of my tune An Tilleadh gu Colla, and I'm asking £120 inc. UK P&P (please ask about international delivery).
FS: Bernard Overton (alto) G whistle (SOLD)
