I have had my Hammig flute a number of years and am not playing it. It's a shame for such a high quality instrument to lay quiet for most of the time...
Does anyone have any useful info about this maker? I'm ultimately looking to find a value and then think about selling.
It is .900 grade solid silver. The bottom C and lowest notes are totally solid and the flute plays well, I asked a flute player who has a Hammig and was told not to waste money having it cleaned or serviced as it is a fine instrument in it's current condition much as hers is.
Any info gratefully received

I'm afraid that I can't help directly, but you might try contacting the New England Flute Shop and see what they give you for an appraisal.
