Not necessarily, depending on your phone plan.

With a prepaid international calling card, I get a rate to Ireland of $0.02 per minute. Which is very Blarney friendly. :-)

If you can't afford a phone call then the flute's definitely out of your price range!

Like MT said (and there's loads of pre-call companies).

You have Eamonn's postal address, his number and fax, which you could have found on Google in about 20 seconds. I didn't want to post his email address, which you can also find in about 20 seconds...

PS. I'll be driving near his house next week on the way to Milltown if you're having trouble getting off the couch and prefer one of us to call in on him for you? [end rant]

ha ha :) that o.k. i know i should just call but i have heard "horror stories" about people who call overseas and then their phone bill is $30 higher. I doubt that would happen, but i don't want to know that bad ;)
I was just wondering if anyone had purchased a Cotter flute, if so, what did it cost?

I haven't checked Cotter prices for a long while, but when I did they were a good deal.
Also very good Pratten flutes. Worth the inquiry.

I've played 2 or 3 Cotters. Very impressed.
To phone, use Skype or similar? Skype to landline requires setting up a small amount of credit on your account - ?$10?, but then international calls to landlines are very, very cheap - that $10 should go a long, long way, and you can monitor its use. That's how I call my parents in Spain from GB these days.
I respect people's privilege to hold their beliefs, whatever those may be (within reason), but respect the beliefs themselves? You gotta be kidding!
