FS: Walsh A2000 Scottish Smallpipes

Post by crookedtune »

After several years of slowly accumulating stuff, I'm weeding out the instruments that don't get played.

I bought these Walsh A2000 Scottish smallpipes (used) on a whim after trying my friend's set. These were like new when I got them, and I haven't logged many hours in the two years I've owned them. So, they're still essentially "as new".

This is a mouth-blown polypenco 3-drone set, as described here:

They are easy-blowing, and I had very little trouble getting used to them. They play great and sound rich and full at ear-friendly volumes. When I think to pull them out, I have a blast, but it just doesn't happen often enough.

Current price of a new set is $769 (US) plus shipping. My price is $550 including shipping in the U.S. (I'd prefer not to ship abroad, due to hassles the last time). No case, but they're sturdy, and I'll pack them well.
