Tomas O'Ceannabhain

Post by omarapiping »

Anyone know of any other recordings other than "O Aird go hAird"?

I have only found links to the above, and all out of print.

Thanks,

Liam

I think that's it.
I have some of Tommy's playing on cassette from when I visited him back in the late 1980s, but god knows where it is.
RTE did a program on him and his brother some years back...

The CD "Fonn-le-fonn" from 1999 seems to be available here for 14.82 euros:

Tomas also plays on two tracks on this CD "The real reels of Ireland" from 2002:

Fonn le Fonn also seems to be out of print. A couple of second handers floating around. Will proably give that a shot.

Whats the story? Is he still alive and piping?

Tell us something.: I'm here because I just wanted to change my location... but it turns out much more complicated than I thought. Do I already have the 100 required characters?

If you can't get it elsewhere, I'm willing to part with my copy of Fonn le Fonn.

the copy of O Aird go hAird that I have claims to having three extra tunes found on cd only...17 tracks total.
