FS: on ebay, Terry McGee

Post by tucson_whistler »

so i'm not the seller, but there's a gorgeous Terry McGee 6 key 5088 Rudall Flute for sale... it's blackwood with silver rings; the opening bid is steep; $2500 smackers; i can't afford it, so maybe it's for somebody else. :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/Terry-McGee-6-key-5 ... 500wt_1156

the description says "A couple of the rings are a bit loose" which i'm guessing means it hasn't been kept humidified... but it doesn't look like the head is lined, so maybe no immediate danger of cracks?

anyway... if somebody gets it, i'd love a review... :)

cheers,
eric

From the title of your post, it looked like it was Terry himself who was up for auction.

Just in case, anyone have a starting bid?
