This is a great flute. Made of blackwood with silver rings and a tuning slide. Has very small holes, almost as small as the McGee Grey Larson Preferred, but has a huge, cutting tone. One of the best session flutes I've tried. Takes little air to produce a big tone. I'm selling it because its tone production and tone quality are too different from Boehm flute technique, making it very difficult to switch between the two which I do in my band.
