Post by Steampacket »

For interested parties there are four D flutes for sale on Ireland's "Done deal", a keyed Cotter, two left handed keyed flutes (Hamilton & Grinter), and a no name flute

The no-name "wooden concert flute" in Cavan looks like it could be a Martin Doyle Pratten keyless going by the end cap and and one piece body

Hmm. I wonder how much it'd be to ship that grain roller to the States?

Tell us something.: I play fiddle, concertina, flute. I live in NH. Lived in Kilshanny, Co Clare, for about 20 years. Politically on the far left. Diet on the far right (plant-based fundamentalist). Musically in the middle of the pure drop.

The no name flute with the stickered case has been on there for 67 days as this point. It could be anything- even a Pakistani flute.

the Cotter is apparently on sale by Noel O'Donoghue, a great flute player from west clare.

Who in their right mind would want a grain roller? :)

@ Steampacket: I live in Kentucky bourbon country, honey-chile.

(& though I have too many flutes as it is, I wouldn't argue if Noel wanted to toss that Cotter in with the lot. Maybe your wedding singer can carry it on the transatlantic flight, e?)
