OT The power of prayer

I am a firm believer in the power of prayer.
When I had surgery for cancer a couple of years ago, the positive energy generated by the prayers, and good wishes of many good folk made a big, big difference to my recovery.
I have just found out that a dear Irish friend of mine here in Winnipeg has terminal cancer and only has 8-10 weeks to live. I would appreciate anyone who would take a few moments to send prayers, positive energy and thoughts her way. Her name is Mary, and she is one of sweetest, nicest ladies I know. Thanks all.

Mine as well. Though I may pray to different gods than you do, I really don't think that matters; I'll be sending the same good energy out there.
I too have lost someone close to me from cancer. I probably don't even have to say this, but spend lots of time with her, even if she says she doesn't want to see anybody because she's so ill.

I lost my eldest brother to cancer.

The advice to spend together what time you can is good advice, for this time won't ever come again.

From your words, I believe Mary has the grace, and this is the positive energy. Help her keep it. Visit her often, hold her hand. Make sure the medics don't hold back on the pain-relievers and let her go in peace.
