Willing reed maker for O'Grady pipes

Post by Joseph »

hello all,
If any of you have a Neil O'Grady chanter or regulators that you would like to have new reeds made for, I am soliciting my services.

I own a Neil O'Grady full set, and obviously make my own reeds. However, I've also had experience reeding other O'Grady chanters as well, including one that I sold some months ago. (See thread viewtopic.php?f=6&t=71928).

Recently, I had a gentleman ask me to reed his NO chanter. The chanter had been modified by Bruce Childress, however I am willing to reed both a nornal NO or modified. I felt the reed turned out really well, and I am posting a sound file (Sorry my playing wasn't as good as I'd like, but hopefully you can get an idea of the tone and tuning).

Anyway, if you are interested, contact by email and we will discuss price. Note: I do not charge until I've made a reed that I am happy with. I also would be willing to do regulators as well.

all the best,
Joseph Sampson
