I bought the chanter and bellow by Jim Daily. I made the bag myself. I use the plastic reed by Bagpipes Galore and the chanter not tune in the second part of first octave. (At present I play only first octave. I cant play the second one. I dont know why)

It may be that you need a different reed.

Did you buy the reed separately or was it made and voiced for your chanter?

Have you contacted Jim Daily?
[Did he supply a reed for the chanter?]
