This whistle was bought brand new in 2008 and has been played no more than two dozen times. I have simply not played it often enough to make it worthwhile- it has been sitting in my closet untouched for the better part of the year I've owned it. It is in excellent condition- no dents or unplayable problems. There are some wear spots- you can see a few of the marks on the headjoint and there is one larger one on the end of the bore. There are some teeth marks on the mouthpiece...tried to avoid that when playing but there are some small marks.
These are all surface only- it is still a very beautiful instrument and the marks are minimal!
