I have a small fretted clavichord that I built from a Carl Fudge kit back in the 80's. I don't play it any more, and it deserves a home where it gets played. IMHO I did a really nice job on it and it played beautifully. However, as is common on these instruments, it has taken on a warp from the diagonal string tension and developed a soundboard crack. Still sounds good though.
I have no idea what to ask for this. The same kit is still being sold, and the kit price is about $3000.
