The Low Whistle Book updated for 2009? Now with Two CDs?

Greetings,

I have the 2006 printing of The Low Whistle Book with one included CD. (In fact, I just had a local printer convert it to a lay-flat binding for just $3.) I was perusing the discography at the back and noticed it was a bit dated. So, I decided to investigate if there was a newer version. Soar Valley Music Company in the UK is the publisher and Mel Bay is the distributor. The Soar Valley catalog for 2009 has a note that there is now a second CD available for use with the book. There is no ordering code for this on their price list.

I asked Whistle and Drum to see if they could get me the bonus CD and check to see if the book has been updated with new content.

I was just wondering if anyone here has bought a copy this year that has a 2009 copyright or a second included CD.

I got this news from the publisher of the book in response to an email.

"I'm afraid the second CD never made it to press, as the masters were damaged and unfortunately the sessions were never re-recorded.
There have been no updates to the book since it's original release."

So, false alarm!
