Big Move.
Hi all,I have finally decided to take the plunge and move from Belfast to Brazil,me and my fiancee (Brazilian) are getting married in Brazil in April and we have decided to live in Brazil instead of Ireland, with a bit of luck I should be there in about 4 or 5 weeks time.
There has been a lot of soul searching about this but I believe it is the right move,I'm both excited, nervous and a wee bit scared lol,but you are only here once so what the heck!
I'll be taking my whistles, guitar and banjo with me,so if anyone has any tips on taking instruments onto planes please feel free to share them......obrigado.

Not that Norn Iron isn't a nice place these days, but anything that gets you away from Belfast is a good thing in my book.

I understand Eunectes murinus can become irritated with banjo music, who knew snakes could even hear.

Fair play to ye boy..a huge move is an understatement.
I thought that "From Clare to here" was bad enough but there is a new song in the offing now.

Re: Big Move.
Advice: don't pee in the water. There are invisible fish in Brazil that will swim up the stream of pee and get into your man organ where it chews at your insides and gets you infected.
(I'm not making this up.)

I'm sure you'd change your mind if you'd had one in your penis! That picture must be greatly magnified because the fish are so tiny they're translucent and invisible to the naked eye.

Ah ha! The infamous bloodsucking catfish! Look up "candiru" in Wikipedia for some excellent links.
This one . . . http://www.straightdope.com/columns/rea ... -revisited . . . has a link to photos of one. Which will convince you that they're not necessarily "invisible."

"Belfast to Brazil" trumps them both.
And now there was no doubt that the trees were really moving - moving in and out through one another as if in a complicated country dance. ('And I suppose,' thought Lucy, 'when trees dance, it must be a very, very country dance indeed.')

Been a while since I heard Galway to Elvis...great as it is.
That version was a bit..well..ye know..
I'l leave it to you to sort out the first verse...and the structure, of Belfast to Brazil.
FFS..No Jazz...
No marching rhythms.. and if I hear a Lambeg....
