You old time video game veterans should recognize more of these configurations than I do , pretty impressive....

The first three were Pong, Tetris and Mortal Kombat. The rest was lost on me, I'm afraid.

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

I remember my daughters and son-in-law pointing out Donkey Kong and Mario Brothers to me while watching this. (and maybe super mario)

That was fun! Why didn't we do fun stuff like that when I was in marching band?

I think most of them after the first 3 were nintendo fare from the 80s. Mario was there (recognised the theme tune) but the rest I didn't get. Bloody brilliant though, good effort.

I sent the link to my former HS marching band kid, but I doubt if she'll do much better than I at recognizing the shapes beyond pong and tetris. She will appreciate the work that went into it.

The images are upside down as filmed.

They are:

Pong
Tetris
Mortal Kombat (not as familiar with this one, there might be something else between this and the next one)
Pokemon
Legend of Zelda
Super Mario Brothers
Super Mario Brothers, music from Super Mario World
Super Mario Brothers music from underwater worlds (I think). Couldn't recognise the image.
A Super Mario Brothers Castle

Very well done, thanks for posting this!
