For those who havent found it yet, Alan Ng's Celtic Tunography is an awsome resource on the web. This guy did an amazing amount of work on a database of the tunes in a host of commercial recordings, apparently based on his own extensive personal collection. I cant begin to describe all the search featuers and stuff thats packed into this site, but suffice it to say that it might be of some value to a newbie trying to find worthwhile CDs to listen to. This guy must have spent a ton of time putting this thing together.
