Leprechaun sighting in Alabama.

News just in.

Honestly...

Slan,
D.
And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Yep. I believe. Especially the guy whose great-grandpa came from Ireland, who had the authentic leprechaun flute. Had one* hole and a tuning slide. Heavy-duty too. Probably the precursor to an Overton or something. I liked the eyewitness sketch too. That made it all the more real for me.

*oh, thanks Nano...2 holes.

Incredible metallurgic quality on that flute for being thousands of years old...

But that guy who wants the gold! What a philistine. If he caught the leprechaun, he oughtta ask for a really good set of pipes. With magic reeds, of course. Eejit.

I just wonder what the "warding off smells" thing was about.

 Honestly. What next? I have to say, though, that considering the annoyance and irritation and boredom of every day life, it is kind of jolly to see people out having a sort of crazy good time. I liked the guy with the flute . And the woman who said it was probably a crackhead playing leprechaun in the tree because someone told him to, or something. Really cute.

I want that flute. It will be mine. Oh, yes. It will be mine.

Actually, the artist's sketch made the whole story for me.

Oh I come from Oklahoma with my banjer on my knee
I'm going to Alabama a leprechaun for to see.
I got a backhoe for the tree, to dig me up some gold,
But first I'll grab that leprechaun and never loose my hold.
O leprechaun, come dig some gold for me,
I sure don't want no cluricaun, cause you're the sprite for me!
